Digitising Artwork with the Fujifilm GFX 100s

Hey guys,

I recently got commissioned to digitise some artwork for a local artist by the name of Deenagh Miller who’s jumping into the world of NFT’s.

She’s got quite a large collection of art that she wants digitising and so I set about starting the process off by working on a few initial collections.

Now I don’t have access to a studio at the moment so I had to come up with a plan to complete the work in a small room in my house, which turned out to be quite the challenge.

Luckily I was able to use the Fujifilm GFX 100s (kindly loaned by Clifton Cameras) and all of it’s dynamic range and resolution to digitise the artwork through a combination of in camera and post production work.

Most of the artwork was around the A2/A1 size on various different materials so lighting it and getting the colours accurate were the most challenging aspect of the shoot. I did have to spend a bit of time in post but I’m happy with how they turned out.

Here’s a few examples below:

If you’re thinking about getting your artwork digitised and jumping into the world of NFT’s, do get in touch and I may be able to help you out!
