Fujifilm X-T4 First Impressions!

Fujifilm X-T4 First Impressions!

Hey guys,

So lockdown here in the UK has finally started to be eased and we are now allowed out for unlimited amounts of exercise!

I took that opportunity to take my brand new Fujifilm X-T4 down to Burnham-On-Sea to shoot a vlog and give the camera a bit of a test so that I could make a first impressions video.

You can watch the video below for my first impressions as well as sample footage and IBIS test but my overall thoughts on the camera at this early stage are very positive.

Here are some of the things I love about the Fujifilm X-T4

  • IBIS - it’s much improved from the X-H1 and does a decent job even on non-stabilised lenses like the 16-55 f/2.8 that I was shooting on.

  • Autofocus - same fast and responsive autofocus that’s found on the X-T3 and even works great in video, rarely losing me during the vlog sequence test.

  • Flip-screen - great addition to the X-T4 making composing vlog shots or filming yourself a breeze.

  • Stills/Movie Switch - such a simple addition to the design but makes a massive difference. Custom menus for both stills and video make changing settings a doddle.

  • Image Quality - I knew this already but the Fujifilm X-T4 produces some stunning images and footage straight out of camera.

  • Improved Design - whilst still quite a compact body, the addition of a beefier grip makes hand holding the X-T4 a bit more comfortable than the X-T3

Go check out the video below to see me talk about the above a bit more and to see example footage and images from the camera.

Much more to come in terms of content with the Fujifilm X-T4 so if you’re interested in this camera be sure to subscribe to the channel!

Cheers,
